PrepYourLesson is a modern online platform that brings together foreign language teachers, school and preschool educators to share unique teaching materials created by themselves. Our goal is to create the largest library of high-quality educational resources that simplify lesson preparation and allow teachers to focus on what matters most — effectively teaching their students.
Is it free to register and use PrepYourLesson?
Registration on PrepYourLesson, browsing materials, uploading materials, selling them, and participating in community discussions are completely free. You only pay a small commission if your materials are sold.
What teaching materials can I find on PrepYourLesson?
On PrepYourLesson, you can find teaching materials such as slides and guides, exercises and worksheets, lesson plans, presentations, activities, homework, tests, exams, and more.

How do I start using PrepYourLesson?

Why do I need an account on PrepYourLesson?
You need to register on our platform to be able to buy or sell teaching materials, leave comments and reviews, and participate in forums and discussions.
Do I need to pay any fees to join PrepYourLesson as a tutor?
No, registering and uploading materials to PrepYourLesson is free.
How can I change my login email address?
To change your login email address, go to the Account Settings on your profile page.
How can I change my login password?
You can change your password in the Account Settings on your profile page.
What should I do if I forgot my login password?
If you forgot your password and can't log in, click the "Forgot password" link and follow the instructions. Alternatively, you can contact our support team at team@PrepYourLesson.com. Please use the email address you provided during registration.
Can I change my username?
You cannot change your username in the profile settings. If you wish to update your username, please contact our support team at team@PrepYourLesson.com, and we will assist you.
What should I do if I no longer have access to the email address linked to my PrepYourLesson account?
Please contact our support team at team@PrepYourLesson.com and provide us with your new email address.
How can I close my PrepYourLesson account?
You can deactivate your account in the Account Settings on your profile page. After deactivation, your materials and profile will no longer be accessible to other users and will not appear in searches. However, your data will not be deleted, and you can reactivate your account by contacting us at team@PrepYourLesson.com. If you want to permanently delete all your data from our servers, please contact us directly at team@PrepYourLesson.com using the email address you registered with.
Where can I find my purchased materials?
There are three ways to access your purchased materials. First, we send you an email with a link to your products after the transaction is completed. Second, you can find all your purchases in the PrepYourLesson user dashboard under My Materials > Purchases. Finally, you can download them directly from the product pages.
How can I leave a review for a product?
You can leave a review on the product page after purchasing it.
How can I ask the seller a question about a product?
On the product page, go to the 'Questions & Answers' section and click the 'Ask a Question' button. Once the seller responds to your question, you will receive an email notification from the PrepYourLesson team.
How can I report an issue with a product?
If you believe a resource infringes on your rights or is offensive, incorrect, or of low quality, go to the 'Report' section at the bottom of the product page and click the 'Report this resource' link.
What should I do if I want a refund for materials purchased on PrepYourLesson?
We strive to ensure the quality of our digital products. However, in rare cases, we may offer a refund in the following situations:
  1. Damaged files: If the product files are corrupted or unusable for their intended purpose.
  2. Misleading description: In cases where the product is grossly misrepresented or does not meet the stated quality standards.
  3. Duplicate purchase: If your purchase was accidentally made twice.

Can I share my materials for free on PrepYourLesson?
Yes, you can make your materials free when creating the product.
How can I upload my materials to PrepYourLesson?
After registering on PrepYourLesson, you can upload your materials directly in the Materials section of your profile by clicking the "Add Material" button. Read our blog article How to post materials on PrepYourLesson for more information.
What materials can I upload?

You must be the copyright owner of the materials you upload, or have permission from the copyright holder to use them.


PrepYourLesson supports uploading files in any format; however, we recommend using formats that allow other educators to edit and adapt the materials to their needs.

What you can upload:
  1. Teacher guides;
  2. Exercises and worksheets;
  3. Lesson plans;
  4. Slides and presentations;
  5. Games and activities;
  6. Homework and solutions;
  7. Tests and assessments;
  8. Other materials useful for educators in your specialization.
Materials can be uploaded in any language.
What are the quality standards of PrepYourLesson?
We ask that all uploaded materials and created products meet our quality standards. This is extremely important to ensure a positive experience for your fellow educators and to increase the visibility of your product.
All products MUST:
  1. Have a clear and descriptive title, subtitle, and description.
  2. Include at least one preview file to show an example of the final product.
  3. Be properly classified by level, subject, resource type, and audience.
  4. Product images are not mandatory, but they are recommended.
Additionally, all product files MUST:
  1. Match the description provided.
  2. Be easy to read – handwritten notes are not allowed.
  3. Be self-sufficient – the end user should be able to use the product as intended without needing to purchase or download additional materials.
Can I sell my materials on PrepYourLesson if I live outside the USA or EU?
Yes! We have created PrepYourLesson to support educators from all over the world. However, before joining, make sure you can receive payments through our payment systems Payoneer or PayPal.
To check if your country is supported, review the list of countries supported by Payoneer. If your country is not listed but you still wish to join, contact us via the contact form and we will try to find a solution.
Note: We do not cooperate with users from Russia.
Do I retain exclusive rights to my materials if I upload them to your platform?
Absolutely. By uploading materials to our platform, you retain all rights to your content. You only grant us a license to display your materials and make them available to our users.
My materials are posted on PrepYourLesson without my consent – how can I remove them?
We take such cases very seriously and fully comply with DMCA. If you suspect that someone else uploaded your work, please submit a complaint about the material on the material page. If you're a registered user, you can also submit a complaint in the Support section of your profile using the 'Submit Complaint' button. We may ask you to provide proof that the materials are indeed yours, and if this is the case, they will be removed from the site as soon as possible. The user who uploaded them will be banned.
Can I delete my uploaded materials?
Yes, you can delete uploaded materials at any time in the 'My Materials' section of your profile. Simply click the 'Delete' button next to your materials to remove them.
How will I receive the money I earned?
We partner with payment systems PayPal and Payoneer for payments to sellers.
  • Payoneer: The minimum payout amount is $20.
  • PayPal: The minimum payout amount is $1.
To set up your payout method:
  1. Go to the Settings section of your profile.
  2. Provide the email address associated with your PayPal or Payoneer account. If you don't have an account, sign up on the respective platform.
  3. If you haven't changed the payout address, your default login email will be used. If the provided email isn't linked to a Payoneer account, the system will automatically send you instructions on how to create an account, link a bank account, and receive payments.
To request a payout, go to the Income section of your profile and click the Request Payout button.
When will I receive my money?
Usually, processing your payout request takes up to 5 business days, after which the money is sent to your PayPal or Payoneer account.
How can I change the payout email address?
You can change or edit your payout method and payout email on the account settings page in the Settings section.
What should I do if there's an issue with the payout (incorrect amount, delay, etc.)?
How can I be sure my payment information is secure?
PrepYourLesson does not process your payment information directly. Your credit card information is processed through Stripe, and your bank account information for payouts is managed through Payoneer and Paypal. All services are well-known payment systems with top-level security.
How can I refund money to a customer?
If you wish to refund a customer, please contact us at team@PrepYourLesson.com and we will assist you with your request.
Does PrepYourLesson charge fees on my sales?
Yes, PrepYourLesson charges a fee of 30 cents + 10% from a successful sale, in addition to a small transaction fee through PayPal or Payoneer.
Can I view my sales statistics, earnings, and performance of my materials?
Yes, you can access your sales statistics, income report, and transaction details on the 'My Earnings' page.
What should I do if a customer left an unfair review?
We do not alter user reviews unless they violate our community guidelines and Terms of Service. If you believe a customer's review is offensive, discriminatory, or reveals private information, please contact us at team@PrepYourLesson.com.
How can I group and sell material bundles?
To sell a bundle of materials, you can create a new product as usual and describe it as a bundle, adding all relevant files in the 'Product Files' field. You can describe the bundle in the description field and add links to the components of the bundle by adding the relevant materials to the 'Similar Products' field during product creation.
How does currency conversion work on PrepYourLesson?
PrepYourLesson allows users to pay for products and receive payouts in their preferred currency. However, for accounting purposes, we record all transactions in USD, so you'll see all amounts in USD when setting prices or viewing income data. We use current official exchange rates from Wise for conversion. Occasionally, we may round the converted price to the nearest number to avoid daily price fluctuations and make it look tidier. For example, a price of $1 may be converted to 36.92 UAH and rounded to 40 UAH.
What is copyright and why is it important?
According to the US Copyright Office , copyright is a form of intellectual property law that protects original works of authorship including literary, dramatic, musical, and artistic works, such as poetry, novels, movies, songs, computer software, and architecture. Copyright does not protect facts, ideas, systems, or methods of operation, although it may protect the way these things are expressed. Copyright grants the author of a work exclusive rights to copying, distributing, preparing derivative works based on a work and performing or displaying the work publicly. It ensures that authors are the sole benefactors of their work.
How does PrepYourLesson handle copyright issues?
Generally speaking, copyrights are held by the creator of the material. However, there are a couple of exceptions including, but not limited to, the following:
  • Employers who own the rights to employee work
  • Fair Use content
  • Public Domain content
How can I make sure I don’t violate any copyright laws when uploading/selling my materials on PrepYourLesson?

How do I report copyrighted materials?
PrepYourLesson is dedicated to protecting the rights of copyright holders, and it is our policy to respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement immediately. Complete the official DMCA takedown request to request removal of alleged copyright materials.
Also, if you believe that the material you posted to the website was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us (a “Counter-Notice”) by submitting a written notification to team@prepyourlesson.com.
What is DMCA? Does PrepYourLesson comply with the DMCA?
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a United States copyright law that addresses the protection of digital copyrighted materials. The DMCA has five sections. Section 2 (Title II) has the most immediate impact on the PrepYourLesson community. It outlines certain legal duties with which Online Service Providers (OSPs) must comply in order to limit their legal liabilities in the event that a user of their service violates copyright laws. An OSP is defined as “an entity offering the transmission, routing, or providing of connections for digital online communications, between or among points specified by a user, of material of the user’s choosing, without modification to the content of the material as sent or received”. How do I file a DMCA takedown request?
To file a DMCA takedown request, please complete the DMCA takedown request form.
  • You will need to identify the copyrighted work or list of works claimed to have been infringed.
  • Provide us with the specific identification and location of the copyrighted work, including its URL on PrepYourLesson. We need to make sure we properly locate the material you cited in Part 1.
  • If sending your request via postal mail or fax, please provide us with your contact information (name, address, phone number, and email address). That way we’ll be able to get in touch with you throughout the process to ensure that your claim is sufficiently addressed.
  • You must provide a statement that you have good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. We need this statement and the following two items to help protect against the possibility of erroneous or mistaken notifications.

PrepYourLesson may provide the content uploader with notice of the removal of, or disabled access to, content. PrepYourLesson also terminates the accounts of users who repeatedly post others’ work to the site without permission..
How do I submit a counter-notice?
  • Please provide a physical or electronic signature with your written communication.
  • Please identify each item you believe was mistakenly removed or disabled, and provide the previous location of the material.
  • Please provide a statement under penalty of perjury that you have good faith belief the material was mistakenly removed.
  • Please provide your name, address, and telephone number. Under the DMCA, you also need to provide a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your address. If you do not reside in the United States, please provide a statement consenting to jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the Northern District of California, and accepting service of process from the individual (or his or her agent) who placed the DMCA takedown request.
