As a TESL-certified teacher with a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto, my aim is to inspire, challenge and support the worldwide community of English language learners seeking to improve their communication abilities. I have taught both general and academic English in a variety of contexts. These include a TESL placement with international MBA students at a university, online private one-on-one ESL classes with adults, and online group ESL classes for newcomers through a not-for-profit immigrant organization. Most of my materials are geared toward Upper Intermediate and Advanced students. My particular focus is on helping students understand English expressions, the usage of phrasal verbs, and more nuanced grammar concepts.
