Vocabulary course (real-life AmE)

Dear colleagues, greetings! Do you know the situation when textbooks lack "live" and interesting vocabulary? The lessons hardly ever use single words, only collocations, for example: - I couldn't help but notice... - to refrain from doing sth - it goes over my head I took the vocabulary from the American TV series Alf (for my students, this series was an additional homework, you can omit this point altogether and present the vocabulary just like that, because it does not depend on the series ) Absolutely everything is developed by me personally. It's suitable for different levels (from A2 to beginner B2) because the examples and explanations are not very difficult, but the phrases are quite interesting and not all students, even B2, use them.
